Halloween’s yucky forecast featuring wind and heavy rains didn’t deter the annual candy hustle for trick-or-treaters around the region Thursday evening.
Beaming smiles, wide eyes and creative costumes filled neighborhood streets in anticipation for the spooky, but chilly candy grab.
Some youngsters (and parents) rocked ponchos atop their outfits, while others sported galoshes and umbrellas as they navigated around — or through puddles on streets and sidewalks.
