Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host two more drive-up distributions this week that can provide food boxes for more than 3,000 vehicles in Greene and Beaver counties.

The food bank will distribute food boxes from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Franklin Township. The distribution can accommodate up to 1,200 vehicles.

Food also will be distributed from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Big Beaver. That event can accommodate up to 2,000 vehicles.

As with the food bank’s other drive-up events, each vehicle will receive two boxes of food, and attendees are not allowed to leave their vehicles at any time, including while waiting in line.

These distributions will mark the third and fourth of the week for the food bank, which also held events Monday at its Duquesne headquarters and Tuesday at the Butler County Fairgrounds.

Residents can keep track of upcoming distributions on the food bank’s website.
