One person was injured in a shooting near a Fayette County YMCA on March 18, 2020.

One person was injured Wednesday in a shooting near a Fayette County YMCA, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI reported.

The victim was transported by medical helicopter to a local hospital after being shot at about 7 p.m.

Witnesses said there were multiple shots fired.

The incident happened in the parking lot of the Uniontown Area YMCA in South Union Township.

State police are investigating.
