Husband in case of Uniontown woman's death taken into custody in Las Vegas
A woman reported missing last week was found dead Monday at her Uniontown home and police said they are charging her husband with criminal homicide and aggravated assault, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.
Nicole Zambrano, 26, was reported missing by coworkers at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort after she had not shown up for work for several days, WTAE reported. Lt. Thomas Kolencik said the investigation began Friday when police checked her residence.
Arthur Eugene Guty Jr., 55, was taken into custody at a Las Vegas resort early Tuesday.

Guty could not explain his wife’s whereabouts and “when he did give us information, it wasn’t accurate,” Kolencik told WTAE.
After conducting a search warrant, police discovered Zambrano’s body Monday at her house in the 00 block of Bierer Avenue. Kolencik said she had “a gunshot wound to a vital part of the body.”
This isn’t the first time Guty has been connected with a police investigation.
In 2019, his then-wife Roxanne Guty was accused of asking another man to kill Guty, according to The Daily Courier.
Norman Pennington told the courts at that time that Roxanne Guty asked him about 10 times to kill her husband.
Pennington believed she was “blowing off steam,” but then changed his mind after she sought a temporary Protection from Abuse order against her husband. That’s when Pennington reported it to police.
