Police say dog shot with pellet gun in Fayette County
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the shooting of a dog in Fayette County.
Between 12:30 and 2 p.m. March 7, a dog escaped a fenced yard in South Union, police said. When it returned, the owner noticed it had been shot multiple times by a pellet gun.
The dog is a boxer mix, weighing about 70 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to contact state police in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.
