Police seek Fayette bank robber

State police are seeking the man who robbed a bank in Fayette County Friday afternoon.

The man, wearing a green jacket and a blue tassel cap, robbed the Vanderbilt branch of the Scottdale Bank & Trust Co. at 704 Main St., Vanderbilt, at about 12:30 p.m., according to state police in Uniontown.

Additional details were not available from the state police. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact state police at Uniontown at 724-439-7111.

Brittany Zolko, a spokeswoman for Mid-Penn Bancorp. Inc. of Millersburg, Dauphin County, could not be reached for comment. Scottdale Bank & Trust Co. is a division of Mid Penn Bank.
