Prime Stage Theatre officials will host open auditions for their 27th season Sept. 16-17 in Pittsburgh.

Auditions for the “Season of Courage and Discovery” will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 16 and 4-9 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Prime Stage Studio, 840 West Saw Mill Run Boulevard in Pittsburgh’s Beechview neighborhood.

Directors Linda Haston, Art Deconcillis and Ponny Conomos are seeking actors from age 13 to adults of all ethnicities and races for shows including “Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott,” “And Then They Came For Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank” and Agatha Christie’s “Witness for the Prosecution.”

Actors should prepare two brief contrasting monologues and bring a resume and headshot photo. A Google Docs form is available to schedule an audition time. Performance dates are listed at PrimeStage.com.
