Hundreds of Pennsylvania scratch-off lottery tickets with a face value of several thousand dollars were taken in the burglary of a Lawrence County restaurant, according to state police.

State police said Ryder’s Restaurant on Route 18 in Wilmington Township was burglarized between 6:30 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.

In addition to the lottery tickets, $315 in cash was taken.

Store owners who come into contact with any suspicious attempts to redeem scratch-off lottery tickets are asked to contact the Pennsylvania Lottery’s security division at 717-702-8026.

Anyone with information about the burglary, or who could provide surveillance footage of the incident, is asked to contact state police in New Castle at 724-598-2211.
