State police arrested a man Wednesday night after officers said he robbed a Fayette County convenience store at gunpoint.

Jackie Lee Murray was arrested without incident after he allegedly took $280 from a Circle K in South Union Township.

According to police, Murray was dropped off at the convenience store carrying a gun around 5:20 a.m. When he went into the store, Murray showed the clerk that the gun was loaded, took the money and fled, police said. Murray was then picked up by the same vehicle that dropped him off.

Police did not identify the driver of the vehicle.
