Jaden Shaw, 17, wanted in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old boy in Uniontown.

A homeless teenager accused in the shooting death of a 16-year-old Uniontown boy Wednesday night went to particular house in order to fight the victim, according to Uniontown police.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jaden Christopher Shaw, 17, who is listed as homeless in court papers but also has an address listed on Connellsville Street and four other Uniontown addresses.

Police accuse Shaw of killing of Gary Wayne Jordan III.

Jordan was shot in the cheek and arm around 9:30 p.m. on the back porch of 59 Lenox St., police stated in a criminal complaint. The boy was pronounced dead shortly afterward in the Uniontown Hospital emergency room, Fayette County Coroner Dr. Phillip Reilly said. Police list the victim as 15 years old but the coroner said Jordan recently turned 16.

Police say they have two witnesses to the shooting, a girl and a third boy.

The male witness told police he had been hanging out with Shaw. According to police, he walked with Shaw to the shooting scene because Shaw wanted to fight Jordan. The witness told police Shaw had handgun with an extended, clear magazine, and he witnessed the shooting. Shaw allegedly was carrying the gun in a book bag.

Shaw is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds. He has green eyes and brown, bushy hair.

Shaw faces charges of criminal homicide, recklessly endangering another person and firearms violations.
