Suspected meth lab dump site found in Indiana County
State police in Indiana County are investigating after an apparent methamphetamine lab dump site was found in a rural area not far from the Westmoreland County border.
Troopers got a tip about the site and discovered several plastic bags discarded in a wooded area along Lower Laurel Road in Buffington Township on Tuesday. The site is about nine miles north of Seward, Westmoreland County.
The state police Clandestine Laboratory Response Team processed 42 suspected one-pot vessels, 100 acid generators and empty chemical containers, Trooper Cliff Greenfield said. No charges have been filed.
Anonymous reports about suspected drug activity can be made to the Drug Trafficking Tip Line at 1-877-PA-NODRUGS.
