Traffic will be disrupted through November along a section of Route 19 in Cranberry for a more than $8.4 million road resurfacing project, PennDOT announced.

Work to repave 7.4 miles of roadway from the Allegheny-Butler county line past the Zelienople area began April 5.

The project by Lindy Paving includes milling, patching, paving, leveling, new guiderails and other improvements.

Short term, single lane traffic restrictions will occur between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the Cranberry area. There also will be restrictions between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. between North Boundary Road and Zelienople, according to the state transportation agency.
