Two brothers escaped a house fire in Center Township early Thursday morning, WPXI reported.
Calls came in at about 3 a.m. for a fire along High Street. The men that live in the home smelled smoke and said they saw flames shooting from the basement.
At least one of the men escaped through a window. A woman that lives at the home was not there at the time.
No one was injured but one of the men told WPXI that a pet chihuahua and rabbit did not make it out.

Crews were able to douse the fire by about 5 a.m.
