Unseasonably warm weather could shatter high temperature record on Tuesday
The high temperatures flirted but failed to hit a record on Monday in Western Pennsylvania but on Tuesday, the daily record is almost sure to be shattered.
As forecast, four of our daily high temperature records have fallen today. Wheeling, Zanesville, and New Philadelphia all had highs of 76°F today. Dubois broke the record with 73°F. Pittsburgh (75°F) was just one degree shy of today's record. https://t.co/TrwyHtBaue

Pittsburgh just missed the high-temperature mark by one degree on Monday (75). The forecast for Tuesday is expected to hit 77 according to the Weather Channel, and should easily top the record of 73 that was set in 1939.
Two potential records to start the week. I'll show you when November weather returns now on Channel 11 Morning News.

But, despite the unseasonable weather that’s been experienced the last few days, reality is supposed to set in Wednesday.
Light-to-moderate rain is expected to develop before sunrise and continue off and on through the day as a cold front moves through.
Expect warm weather again for Tuesday, but rain will become likely thereafter with the approach of a cold front. pic.twitter.com/sXArI9dbf2
