The Washington County coroner has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident in Twilight borough on Sunday morning.

Dustin Michael Chiodo, 35, of Bentleyville in Washington County, was riding his motorcycle along Twilight Hollow Road shortly after 4:30 a.m. in the tiny borough when he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control and struck a guardrail, according to the coroner’s report.

The wreck was reported to Washington County 911 by a passing motorist, investigators said.

Chiodo was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:49 a.m.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of Chiodo’s death, which is being investigated by the Charleroi Regional Police Department.
