Rolling Stones announce Pittsburgh concert
After a spate of billboard teasers, The Rolling Stones formally announced they will return to Pittsburgh on June 23.
Heinz Field will be part of a 15-city tour, with tickets going on sale Feb. 14.
The long-running TV show “COPS” will use footage filmed last summer in Pittsburgh in upcoming episodes.
The show promoted the episodes with a Tweet that said “Pittsburgh we have arrived.”
Shots fired at undercover officers in New Kensington
At least one person in a group of five or six people opened fire on undercover police officers in New Kensington in the 1200 block of Kenneth Avenue.
It was only blocks from the area where an officer was shot and killed two years ago.
The vehicle fired upon is used in undercover operations.
Preliminary NTSB report released in turnpike crash
The National Transportation Safety Board released its preliminary report about a deadly tour bus crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
The bus crashed into an embankment on Jan. 5, causing a chain-reaction crash with three tractor-trailers and a car.
Five people were killed, including the bus driver, and 60 others were hurt.
