Greene County Sheriff’s Office
Chloe Jones made the Greene County Sheriff’s Office most wanted list on charges that included failure to appear for plea court and simple assault.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office said a woman who commented on a department Facebook page has been arrested as a result of a lead stemming from that post.

On March 27 the sheriff’s office shared its top ten most wanted list with photos of the individuals to its Facebook page.

Chloe Jones made the list with charges including failure to appear for plea court and simple assault.

According to the sheriff, Jones, posting as Chloe Tyler, left a comment on the post taunting, “Do you guys do pick or delivery?” along with several laughing emojis.

That user also engaged with others who replied to the first comment and at one point said that she was in a hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

On Monday the sheriff’s office posted an update that said Jones had been arrested and that she would be spending time someplace without internet access.

“Ms. Chloe Jones and her witty comments are taking a hiatus from our Facebook comments section due to the jail not having internet for her to use.”

The department also thanked people for their help in locating Jones, “Thank you to the citizens of Greene County, Monongalia County and many others for your tips that lead to her arrest. Morgantown Police were able to take her into custody this evening.”
