Woman stabbed by unknown man in Aliquippa


State police said woman would make a full recovery

A woman was expected to be OK after being stabbed by an unknown man early Sunday morning in Beaver County, according to state police.

Aliquippa officers went to the 400 block of Franklin Avenue around 1 a.m. for a report of a woman who had been stabbed once in the arm, state police said.

The woman, 21, told police the man stabbed her on Sheffield Avenue.

She was taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh and was expected to make a full recovery, state police said.

The man was only described as Black and about 30 years old. No other descriptive information was provided.

An investigation is ongoing, state police said.
