Dawnlee Vaughn is running for Collier commissioner on Nov. 7, 2023.

Collier residents elected a new commissioner on Nov. 7, according to unofficial Allegheny County results.

Gabriel Benvenuti, with 1,613 votes, joined incumbent and fellow Republican Dawnlee Vaughn, 1,505 votes, in winning seats on the board. Democratic Ethan Styche was unsuccessful, receiving 1,484 votes.

“I want to thank the voters of Collier Township for electing Dawnlee Vaughn and myself to represent them on the board of commissioners,” Benvenuti said. “It was a hard-fought race in a high-turnout election.

“I also want to thank candidate Ethan Styche, who is a great public servant, quality individual, and fought very hard in a competitive race. I look forward to serving and keeping Collier Township one of the best places to live in the county.”
