In the Quaker Valley School Board races, all candidates were cross-filed with the exception of Region 1’s Brett Williams and Lynn Truskie, who were only on the Republican ticket.

In Region 1, incumbents Daniela Helkowski and Jonathan Kuzma faced newcomers Holly Teegarden, Williams and Truskie.

According to the Allegheny County Office of Elections unofficial results, Helkowski and Kuzma appear to be the Democratic nominees with 343 and 322 votes, respectively.

Williams and Kuzma look to have secured the Republican nomination with 232 and 231 votes, respectively.

Voters will vote for up to two candidates in November.

In Region 2, newcomer Stratton Nash ran unopposed. He will fill the seat of Sarah Heres, whose term ends this year and did not run for reelection.

The two Region 3 candidates, incumbent Kathryn Doebler and newcomer David Poluszejko, will square off again in November. Doebler captured the Democratic nomination, 523 to 114, while Republicans chose Poluszejko by a slimmer margin of 364 to 298.
