DUI, drug cases among those recently handled in Judge Ford’s Sewickley court

Sewickley District Court Judge Robert L. Ford handled these cases in October. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Sewickley police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Madeleine McConnell, 24, of Mercer on charges of possession of controlled substances, driving under the influence, disregard traffic lane, failure to perform duties at stop sign, turning movements and required signals, careless driving and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. Franklin Park police filed the charges July 26.

• Thomas Hinkson, 65, of Hermitage on charges of operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock and having a display plate card in an improper vehicle. Franklin Park police filed the charges Aug. 9.

• Daziah Schofield, 19, of Aliquippa on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license, turning movements and required signals, possession of controlled substances, possession with intent to deliver and no rear lights. Leetsdale police filed the charges Aug. 31.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Timothy Namath, 36, of New Brighton on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving, driving with a suspended licence and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property. Leetsdale police filed the charges Sept. 3, 2018.

• Richard German, 24, of Steubenville, Ohio, on charges of defiant trespass. Franklin Park police filed the charges May 17.

• Lucas Umstott, 28, of Pittsburgh on charges of theft by unlawful taking. Franklin Park police filed the charges

July 6.

• Kim Hosilyk, 48, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence, disregard traffic lane, driving at unsafe speed and careless driving. State police filed the charges July 26.

• Austin Reynolds, 21, of Mars on charges of driving under the influence, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving at unsafe speed, disregard traffic lane and careless driving. Franklin Park police filed the charges Aug. 8.
