Sewickley Presbyterian Church

St. Stephen’s Anglican Church

The Lent Dinner and Speaker Series begins March 9. The theme for the evening will be based on excerpts from “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m and the speaker at 7. GriefShare meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. If you have lost a loved one, we would be honored to offer support. Call the pastoral care office to register, 412-741-1790.

If you or someone you love suffers with memory loss on a daily basis, join our support group for those suffering with or caring for a loved one with memory loss. We meet on the second Monday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Call the pastoral care office to register, 412-741-1790.

Divine Redeemer Parish

Eucharistic Adoration at St. Mary, 444 Glenfield Road, takes place 8-9 p.m. Wednesdays. At St. James, 200 Walnut St., it takes place from 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Mondays, 3-7 p.m. Wednesdays, noon-4 p.m. Fridays and on Saturdays after 9 a.m. Mass. Walk-ins and signups are welcome.

Parishes throughout the Diocese of Pittsburgh, including Divine Redeemer Parish, are holding synodal sessions. They are the first part of a consultation called a synod, which means journeying together. The parish’s second synod will be held 6-8:30 p.m. March 14 at St. James Gathering Place.

Sewickley Presbyterian Church

Sewickley Presbyterian church will hold its annual Lenten Soup Supper and Study every Wednesday through April 6 at 6 p.m. in the church dining room. It is requested that you register for the event. Registration can be found online at sewickleypresby.org. The studies will also be live-streamed online. The study this year will be led by Mike Creamer and is titled “Finding Faith in Fairytales,” based on the “Chronicles of Narnia” series by CS Lewis.

Biblical storyteller Donna Marie Todd will take part in the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services and will provide a story concert at 2 p.m. March 20. Please visit www.donnamarietodd.com for additional information about her ministry.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

Six-week Wednesday Evening Bible Study: We will hold a special mid-week series at 7 p.m. through Lent.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sewickley United Methodist Church, and St. Matthews AME Church will join together for ecumenical Sunday evening worship in Lent.

The services will follow the Seven Words From the Cross. They will be held at 6 p.m. as follows:

• March 20 and April 10 at St. Matthews

• March 27 at St. Paul’s

• March 13, April 3 at SUMC
