Beth Samuel Jewish Center

Shabbat Morning Services are held every Saturday at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom.

Christ Church at Grove Farm

Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (traditional) and 11:15 a.m. (modern).

Divine Redeemer Parish

The Divine Redeemer 55 Plus Club meets the third Thursday of every month, September through May 2023.

We start with the Rosery at 10 a.m., followed by lunch and entertainment, ending at 1 p.m.

Cost of lunch will be $12 for members and $13 per guest. Dues of $14 are payable now. Lunch reservations for Feb. 16 are due by 9 a.m. Feb. 10. Fairmount Presbyterian Church

Sunday school is offered at 9 a.m. Sundays. Worship service takes place on Sundays at 10 a.m. Wednesday prayer is offered at 6:30 p.m.

Grace Anglican Church

Morning prayer is offered Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. This is a short service of scripture and prayer. All are welcome. Clergy are available on Tuesdays from 7:30-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 a.m. to hear confession and offer spiritual direction.

North Way Sewickley Valley

North Way Sewickley Valley is a family friendly Christian community offering services at 9:15 and 11 a.m. each Sunday. Kids Church is available at both services for children from birth to fifth grade. Autism Ministry support is also available for children from preschool to eightth grade with pre-­registration.

Sewickley Presbyterian Church

Sunday services are at 8 a.m. (traditional with communion each week), 9 a.m. contemporary and 11 a.m. traditional. Christian education hour is at 10 a.m.

Club 345, an after-school club for kids in grades 3, 4, and 5, is held every Wednesday from 3:45 - 5:15 p.m. at the Faith House. Kids play games, eat a snack, and take part in a fun mission project. All kids are welcome to attend.

Sewickley United Methodist Church

Sewickley United Methodist Church has two services each Sunday — 9 a.m. contemporary, featuring praise band Leap of Faith, and 11 a.m. traditional. Nursery care and children’s ministries are available during both services. The church is a Reconciling Congregation and openly welcomes all people.

St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church

The church holds in-person Sunday worship with Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.; the latter is also live-streamed. Sunday School is conducted and the nursery is open during the 10 a.m. service. A special Children’s Service is held at 10 a.m. on the last Sunday of each month.

St. Brendan’s will hold a gently Used Book, CD and DVD sale 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 17 and 9 a.m.-noon Feb. 18. Baked goods and quarts of homemade soup will also be available.

Rev. Robin Jarrell is teaching “How Did the Bible Come to Be?,” a series of classes at 6 p.m. Thursdays via Zoom to which newcomers are invited.

St. Matthews AME Zion Church

The church’s trustee/steward board is hosting a pancake breakfast every Saturday in February from 8 a.m.-noon. The menu will be pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, grits and beverages. It is a free will offering.

Sunday School is held each week at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday services at 10:30 a.m., led by pastor William B. Rankin. All are welcome.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sewickley is opening a new outreach ministry – the Kids’ Community Closet. The free- cycle space will serve children ages infant to youth by providing gently used clothing, coats/jackets, and shoes to the community for free.

The grand opening date is set for 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 18.

There are no applications, income guidelines, or donations required to “shop” at the Kids’ Closet. Using the courtyard entrance to St. Paul’s, community members are welcome to stop by the second floor to donate, shop, or volunteer at the following times: 9 a.m. to noon Mondays; 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.

At this time, the Kids’ Community Closet is only able to accept children’s clothing and shoes. It is not able to accept toys, baby gear, bedding/blankets, athletic equipment, etc.

The church holds in-person and live-streamed worship at 10 a.m. Sundays. Sunday school for all ages is at 9 a.m.

Bible study is 10 a.m. Tuesdays at the Edgeworth Eat’n Park.

St. Stephen’s Anglican Church

A partnership of the Pittsburgh Fellows & St. Stephen’s Church will host a Faith and Work Night on Feb. 15 from 6-8 p.m. The topic will be “Intersection of Faith & Culture in the Workplace.” Featured speakers are John Dellappe of Connective­Rx, Tim Wright of KPMG and Adam Lowe of RoadRunner. Dinner and childcare provided. Pre-registration is required by Feb. 13 at pittsburghfellows.com.

Seatings available Feb. 24, located on the corner of Frederick and Walnut streets, The Christy House is Friday tradition at St. Stephen’s. Since 1976, guests are invited to enjoy lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Christy House has two unique stores, the Needles Eye (new) and Earthly Treasures (gently used), where special gift items and collectibles can be purchased. Midweek Community for all ages on Wednesdays takes place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and offers various Midweek Community options that focus on the essentials of life in Christ and pertinent interests we face in our daily lives. Want to dig deeply and prayerfully into the Scriptures? All ladies are welcomed for Women’s Tuesday Teaching, a no-homework Bible study held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall at the church.
