Here are the election results for the Quaker Valley area

Quaker Valley area voters made their voices heard and have elected the following folks to school board, council, board of commissioners and supervisors.

Many of the races, including mayoral contests, were uncontested.

Quaker Valley School Board

Board Vice President Daniela Sauro Helkowski (956) and newcomer Ellen Stevenson (840) cruised to victory for two four-year seats in Region 1. There were 31 write-in votes cast.

Board member Stratton Nash (1,103) won another four-year term in Region 2. There were 29 write-in votes cast.

Board member Kathryn Doebler (1,737) also won reelection for a four-year seat in Region 3. There were 65 write-in votes cast.

All candidates were on both party tickets in the Nov. 4 election.

Aleppo

Commissioners President George Jones (369) and Commissioner Daniel Darragh (283), both Republicans, each won another four-year term in a race for three seats. There were no Democrats or other parties listed.

The third seat is expected to be filled by whomever earned the most of the 131 write-in votes cast.

Commissioner Amy Richert did not seek reelection.

Bell Acres

Council President David Renfrew (345), Vice President Brock Meanor (374) and council members Charles Kulbacki (355) and Michelle Veeck (352), all Republicans, were unopposed for four-year seats.

There were 31 write-in votes cast.

Republican Councilman Matthew Horton (392) ran unopposed for a two-year seat. There were 13 write-in votes cast.

Democrat Mayor Alvania Kenneth ran unopposed for reelection to a four-year term.

Edgeworth

Council President Joseph Hoepp (412), Vice President Ivan Hofman (403) and incumbents Daniel Wilson (424) and Katherine D. Larsen (435), all Republicans, each were returned to four-year seats, with no Democratic Party candidates. There were 54 write-in votes cast.

Republican Mayor Gary Smith (518) ran unopposed for another four-year term.

Glen Osborne

Council President John Orndorff (186) and Councilman Gregory Curran (152), both Democrats, each earned one of four open four-year seats, with no Republican opposition. There were 28 write-in votes cast.

Councilwoman Ann Fruehauf (169) was the lone candidate for a two-year term. She ran as a member of the Get Stuff Done party, according to Allegheny County records.

Newcomer Matthew Doebler (186), registered as a member of the Osborne is Beautiful party, ran unopposed for a four-year term as mayor, according to Allegheny County records.

Leet

Newcomers Jessica Cindrich (373) and Paul Magee (322) ran unopposed for two four-year seats.

Cindrich won a Democratic nod and Magee a Republican nod in the May primary. They also got enough write-in votes via their respective opposing party to claim spots on both ballots.

No incumbents ran for reelection. There were 10 write-in votes cast.

Leetsdale

Council President Maria Napolitano (233), Vice President Osman Awad (211), Councilman James DeGori (215) and newcomer Robert Benedict (237) were unopposed for four-year seats.

Mayor Sandra Ford (298) earned another four-year term. She won the Democratic primary and dominated the Republican write-in votes.

Sewickley

Council members Todd Hamer (309) and Linda Solecki (278), both Democrats, earned two four-year seats in Ward 1, with no Republican opposition.

There were 18 write-in votes cast.

Kristopher Edward Lorang (379), borough zoning hearing board chairman, was on both the Republican and Democratic tickets for a four-year seat in Ward 2. Both party nods for this ward were decided via write-in votes.

Councilwomen Anne Willoughby (347) and Donna Korczyk (293), both Democrats, earned two four-year seats in Ward 3.

There were no Republican candidates. Seventeen write-in votes were cast.

Mayor George Shannon (1,144) ran unopposed for another four-year term. There were 50 write-in votes cast.

Shannon won a Democratic nod in May and earned enough write-in Republican votes to be on both ballots.

Sewickley Heights

Council Vice President Craig Kinney (222) and council members Mary Barbour (213), Tom Pangburn (223) and Carey Sirianni (214), all Republicans, earned four four-year seats. There were no Democrats on the ballot. There were 26 write-in votes cast.

Republican Mayor George Magovern (251) ran unopposed for another four-year term.

Sewickley Hills

Incumbents Thomas Kluxbull (195), Teresa Hartle (188) and Joseph Hajnas (187) all beat out Republican challenger and planning commission member Cynthia Phillips (112) in a race for three four-year council seats. There were six write-in votes cast.

Hajnas and Hartle earned enough votes in the primary to be on both the Democratic and Republican tickets, according to Allegheny County records.

Klixbull and Hartle were on the Republican ticket only, county records show.
