In brief: Farmers market, Penguin Bookshop book launch and more in Sewickley
Sweet Jazz Music Series
Sweetwater Center for the Arts’ annual Sweet Jazz Music Series is moving to the spring so live jazz can be enjoyed in the warm outdoors. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets, and enjoy amazing talent Friday nights in May and June. Each night will have a different food truck.
Listen to the sounds of modern jazz with soulful unique improvisation with the Reggie Watkins Trio on May 14 from 7- 9 p.m. The food truck will be Curbside Cocina, serving Mexican street-style food starting at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 for adults $15 for children 16 and under.
Physical tickets are not issued — once purchased, your name will be on a list at the door on performance night. The address with directions will be emailed the day before the concert — the location is in Bell Acres.
