Fourth of July celebration
Leetsdale’s Fourth of July celebration and parade is set for 2 p.m. July 4. Festivities continue in Henle Park with bouncy houses, jugglers, balloon artists, splash pad, music and fireworks. More information is available at leetsdaleboro.net.
Business Connection
The Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection, a referral group of business professionals, will meet July 5 at Eat’n Park on Route 60 in Robinson for breakfast from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. Speakers will be Brian Koeberle, esquire, and Bill Paviol of SSA Security Systems. Splash pad open
Leetsdale’s splash pad in Henle Park is open for the season. Water will remain on from noon to 6 p.m. seven days a week until Labor Day. Hours can change without notice, and the water will be off when inclement weather is expected. More information is available online at leetsdaleboro.net.
Night Mart planned
Sewickley Chamber of Commerce will host Night Mart from 6 to 9 p.m. June 30 along Beaver Street between Broad and Walnut streets. The event will feature about 30 artisan vendors, 13 food trucks and tents, live entertainment and a local craft brew pop-up. Vendors include From the Grounds Up Coffee, Slurp-N-Burst Boba Tea, Uni Ramen Bar, Veggies N’At, Baxter and the Bear, Clementina, and Found Woodworks. Night Marts are also planned for July 28 and Aug. 25.

Summer reading starts
Sewickley Public Library’s summer reading program has begun and runs through Aug. 5. There are various reading challenges and prizes available for kids, teens and adults throughout the program.
