In brief: Holiday showings at The Lindsay, Business Connection and more in Quaker Valley
Holiday Story Walk
The Sewickley Public Library has partnered with Allegheny Land Trust, Leetsdale Borough and Ohio Township Community Park to offer three Holiday StoryWalks in the parks this holiday season.
Visitors are invited to bundle up and stroll down the walking path at Audubon Greenway, Henle Park and the Nature Trail at Ohio Township Community Park and read holiday-themed picture books along the way. This season, visitors can discover who Bear stays up for when they read “Bear Stays Up for Christmas” by Karma Wilson at Audubon Greenway, read all about what snowmen do at night in “Snowmen at Night” by Caralyn Buehner and read a touching poem about snowflakes and the wonders of childhood in “Snowflakes Fall” by Patricia MacLachlan.
The Holiday StoryWalk is open daily through Dec. 31. More information can be found online at sewickleylibrary.org.
