Old Economy Village opening
Old Economy Village in Ambridge will open for the 2022 season on April 1. Hours of operation will be Friday-Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information, call 724-266-4500.
Sewickley Valley YMCA
The Sewickley Valley YMCA offers weekly preschool summer programs for campers who have not yet completed kindergarten and are ages 3 years and older. Preschool Day Camp features arts and crafts, outdoor games, swimming, experiments, music and movement activities at Osborne Elementary School. Preschool Day Camp programs adhere to the covid-19 regulations put forth by Pennsylvania State child care licensing and the Department of Human Services. • Bring the whole family out to the Sewickley Valley YMCA from 1-3 p.m. March 20 for an afternoon of fun. Activities include the preschool-style ninja course, imagination playground, face painting, mini bounce house, new jump pillow, or swim in the large pool with a giant inflatable submarine. There is something for every age at the Family Fun event. YMCA membership and registration are not required.
Senior Men’s Club
An affiliate of the Sewickley Valley YMCA, the Senior Men’s Club will have David Huffaker of the Port Authority speak March 18 at the YMCA. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for an informal social gathering followed by the presentation at 10.
Additionally, Tonya of Disabled Animal Recoveries will speak March 25.
Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask. Nonvaccinated individuals are requested to wear a mask. For more information, visit smensclub.org.
Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection
The Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection, a referral group of business professionals, will meet March 23 at the Eat’n Park on Route 60 in Robinson Township for breakfast from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Query Club
All meetings take place in the Community Room of the Sewickley Public Library from 7-9 p.m.
The March 28 meeting will feature host John Orndorff. Ingrid Kalchthaler will present Bridget Biddy Mason: Real Estate Magnate and Philanthropist of Old West and Steve Houghton will present Bernard DeVoto’s War in the West.
