Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection

Pennsylvania Master Naturalist training
Pennsylvania Master Naturalist is now accepting applications for its natural sciences training course for citizen volunteers in the spring of 2021.
The nonprofit organization is dedicated to building a corps of knowledgeable volunteers committed to protecting Pennsylvania’s natural heritage. Adults who are curious about nature, enjoy the outdoors, and want to be a part of natural resource conservation in Pennsylvania are perfect candidates to become Pennsylvania Master Naturalists.
An initial 50-hour volunteer training course must be completed, followed by annual volunteer service and continuing education in the natural sciences to become a certified Master Naturalist volunteer.
Those interested should apply online by Jan. 15, 2021, to receive a discounted tuition rate for the training course in Allegheny County. The deadline to apply is Feb. 1, 2021. Scholarships are available. For more information, visit pamasternaturalist.org.
