YMCA Easter egg hunt planned April 16
Join the Sewickley Valley YMCA for its Easter Egg Hunt from 1 to 2:30 p.m. April 16 at the Y’s Athletic Field. Bring your basket to collect prize-filled eggs; a separate area will be designated for kids ages 3 and under. There will also be a bounce house for kids to jump, and the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures.
The Easter egg hunt is free, although registration for the event is required; each child must be registered individually. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors.

Sewickley Music Club
The Sewickley Music Club recently welcomed the Pittsburgh Trombone Project, who entertained with musical selections, education of the trombone itself and stories of their musical careers.
The club’s upcoming program April 12 will be hosted by The Sewickley United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. with featured entertainment by The Roger Barbour Jazz Band. The Barbour band has been seen all over the Greater Pittsburgh area for years, and Roger himself has been playing (trumpet) professionally for more than 50 years at venues worldwide, including Las Vegas and Paris.
Attendees must be Sewickley Music Club members or a sponsored guest of a member.

Flea market
Little Hill United Methodist Church, 2350 Magee Road Ext., Sewickley/Franklin Park, will hold a Flea Market from noon to 7 p.m. on April 28-29 and a half-price and hoagie sale on April 30 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Senior Men’s Club
An affiliate of the Sewickley Valley YMCA, the Senior Men’s Club will have retired weatherman Chris Srygen on April 8at the YMCA. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for an informal social gathering followed by the presentation at 10.
Upcoming presentations include Pennsylvania DEP’s Jim Miller on April 22 and Animal Rescue’s Katie Campbell on April 29.
There will be no speaker on Good Friday, April 15.

The Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection, a referral group of business professionals, will meet April 13 at the Eat’n Park on Route 60 in Robinson Township for breakfast from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Speakers will be David Dauer of Dauer Power and Rich Coyner of Minuteman Press of Cranberry Township.
