Sweetwater Center for the Arts’ Holiday Mart is going virtual this year.

Holiday Mart online

Sweetwater’s Center for the Arts annual Holiday Mart will be online in 2020. Log on and shop for unique, handcrafted gifts made by local artists Nov. 28-Dec. 19. Holiday Mart has something for everyone on your list, in every price range – artisan-made jewelry, knitwear, hats and scarfs, unique accessories, hand-thrown mugs and bowls, wall art, candles, cute aprons, great hostess gifts, teachers gifts, ornaments, cards, decorations and so much more.

Holiday Mart is Sweetwater’s largest fundraiser for the year. Support your local artists and your favorite local art center by visiting www.SweetwaterArtSale.org.

Glass recycling

Pennsylvania Resources Council’s traveling glass recycling bin will be at Sewickley Riverfront Park, 300 Chadwick St., through Nov. 28. All colors of glass bottles, jars and jugs will be accepted. The following items will not be accepted: cut glass, glass bakeware, mirrors, porcelain and ceramics, stemware, light bulbs, televisions and window glass. Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection

The Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection, a referral group of business professionals, will meet at the Eat’n Park on Route 60 in Robinson Township for breakfast from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. Dec. 2.
