The coronavirus pandemic put a stop to in-person visits for those interested in attending La Roche University.
But prospective students can get university information during a series of virtual admissions events scheduled throughout the summer.
High school students can sign up to meet with faculty and staff using the Zoom meeting app to learn more about more than 50 academic programs available, as well as study abroad, student life, residence life, mission and ministry.
Prospective students and their families also can use the Zoom app to take a virtual tour of the campus in McCandless.
Counselors also will be on hand to discuss the admissions process, financial aid and the other programs offered.
The Summer Nights virtual campus tours will be offered at 5 p.m. on the following days:
• June 22 and 30
• July 8, 14 and 27
• Aug. 5
The university’s admission department also is offering a Zoom meeting on career development at 2 p.m. on June 17; and “Packing for College” at 2 p.m. on July 1.
Students from other colleges and universities who might be interested in attending La Roche can attend a Transfer Fair via the Zoom app on the following days:
• June 23 and July 16, 9 to 11 a.m.
• July 27, 5 to 7 p.m.
• Aug. 13, 2 to 4 p.m.
