Landslide closes part of Route 28 southbound between the Hulton Bridge, Powers Run Road

A southbound lane of Route 28 is closed between the Hulton Bridge in Oakmont and Powers Run Road following a landslide Tuesday evening.

State police, PennDOT and local fire departments are on scene.

The slide reportedly occurred around 10:30 p.m.

No further information was immediately available.
