Parts of Interstate 79 and state Route 65 will be closed beginning July 9 at 9 p.m. through July 12 at 5 a.m.

The Ohio Township Police Department announced the closure on Facebook on Tuesday.

I-79 northbound will be closed at the Coraopolis exit, and all traffic will be detoured from I-79 north to Exit 64, which is marked “PA-51, Coraopolis, McKees Rocks.”

All I-79 north traffic will be directed onto state Route 51 through Coraopolis. Traffic will cross over the Sewickley Bridge to detour back south on state Route 65 along Ohio River Boulevard. The detour will direct traffic onto Kilbuck Street through Glenfield Borough and back onto I-79 from Kilbuck Street.

Officers will be posted at various locations to assist traffic during the daylight hours along with signs in place.
