Sewickley officials agreed at the June 8 council meeting to move the piano back to the gazebo at Wolcott Park in the business district.

The piano was taken out during the pandemic to discourage people from gathering at the gazebo.

It is expected to be back by the end of June.

Also at the June 8 meeting, council authorized Certificates of Appropriateness for foundation work at 225 Frederick Ave. and a new roof over an existing deck at 526 Cochran St.

The certificates are required for façade developments in the borough’s historic district. They are recommended to council by the Historic Review Commission for projects commissioners deem satisfactory.
