Beth Samuel Jewish Center
Beth Samuel Jewish Center meets every Saturday at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom for Morning Shabbat Services. First Friday Family Services take place at 5:45 p.m. on the first Friday of the month during the school year, accompanied by a congregational potluck. Kabbalat Shabbat services are held the third Friday of every month during the school year on Zoom.
Seven Speices of the Land of Israel Zoom Talk will take place at 7 p.m. March 27 with special guest Cantor Dr. Janet Ilene Roth.
The congregation will meet for a Passover Seder for the first time in three years at 6 p.m. April 7. Joun in the social hall fo chare the PAssover Meal and journey. Cost is $36 per person (maximum $108 per family). To register, complete the form at bethsamuel.org/seder by March 31.

Christ Church at Grove Farm
The church will host an Easter Eggstravaganza at 9 and 11 a.m. March 25. An interactive show will be followed by an egg hung with a twist. The event is free but space is limited. Registration is required at ccgf.org/kids/egg.

Divine Redeemer Parish
The Divine Redeemer 55 Plus Club meets the third Thursday of every month, September through May 2023. The club starts with the Rosery at 10 a.m., followed by lunch and entertainment, ending at 1 p.m. Cost of lunch will be $12 for members and $13 per guest. Lunch reservations for April 20 are due by April 13. The Plastic Bag Sleeping Mat Society will meet from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. March 30 in the Gathering Space at St. James Church. We are a small group of people who cut plastic bags to make plastic yarn (plarn) to make sleeping mats. We need cutters and especially crocheters to finish the plarn into 36- by 72-inch mats. Since 2022, 45 mats have been sent to Ukraine through the help of DTCare.org, located in Moon Township.

North Way Sewickley Valley
North Way Sewickley Valley is a family friendly Christian community offering services at 9:15 and 11 a.m. each Sunday. Kids Church is available at both services for children from birth to fifth grade. Autism Ministry support is also available for children from preschool to eighth grade with pre-registration.

St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church
The church holds in-person Sunday worship with Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.; the latter is also live-streamed. Sunday School is conducted and the nursery is open during the 10 a.m. service. A special Children’s Service is held at 10 a.m. on the last Sunday of each month.
The parish is holding potluck dinners on Wednesdays at 6 p.m., which will be followed by Compline and Eucharist at 7 p.m.
Morning Prayer is offered at 8 a.m. Monday-Friday, via Zoom. Bible Study is held at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays via Zoom. Contact the office for links.
St. Brendan’s Youth Group will meet for food, fun and fellowship from 7-8:30 p.m. March 27.
The Annual Spring Cleanup is set for 9 a.m.-noon April 1, when parishioners will weed, rake leaves, spread mulch, trim trees and perform light indoor tasks.

St. Matthews AME Zion Church
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday service is at 10:30 a.m., led by Pastor William B. Rankin.
A Lent season service will take place at 6 p.m. March 26, led by Pastor Mike Creamer with fellowship to follow.
On Good Friday, April 7, the Cross walk will begin at 6 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and end at St. Matthews. Preaching Pastor Emily Miller will lead the service.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
Sunday worship is at 10 a.m.; Sunday school at 9 a.m. Weekly Bible study is at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at the Edgeworth Eat’n Park.
The Kids’ Community Closet at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is now open. The “free-cycle” space serves children ages infant to youth by providing gently used clothing, coats/jackets, and shoes to the community at no cost.
Hours are 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
There are no applications, income guidelines, or donations required to “shop” at the Kids’ Closet. The church takes donations of gently used clothing and shoes. At this time, toys, baby gear, bedding/blankets and athletic equipment cannot be accepted.

St. Stephen’s Anglican Church
All children ages birth through fifth grade grade are invited to St. Stephen’s annual free Community Egg Hunt. Come to the church lawn on April 1 at 10 a.m. Please bring your own basket.
Wednesday nights in March, the church will host a Lent Speaker & Dinner Series: The Tears of Jesus – Grieving in the Grace of God. With the expertise of licensed counselors and care professionals, we want to engage the ever-present reality of grief and be led deeper into the compassion of God for ourselves and for those around us. The Good Friday service, April 7, takes place during the hours Jesus suffered on the cross (noon-3 p.m.). Come for all or part of this moving service featuring seven short sermons on Christ’s seven last words by the preaching team and guest speakers, along with choral presentations, congregational hymns and prayers.
Easter Sunday Services will be held at 7:30 a.m., 9:15 .a.m and 11:15 a.m.
