Quaker Valley High School will be closed Tuesday due to bed bugs, school district officials announced Monday night.

A staff member discovered the bugs on a student’s clothing, according to a post on the district’s website.

“Out of an abundance of caution, an extermination company will treat the high school facility in accordance with the district’s integrated pest management policy,” the post read. “The building will reopen on Wednesday.”

Parkway West Career and Technology Center will be open and transportation will be provided to those students Tuesday.
