Quaker Valley High seniors artfully mark their parking spots for the coming school year
Quaker Valley High School seniors continued the tradition of painting their parking spaces ahead of the upcoming school year.
More than 50 students participated in the artful preparation earlier this month. The first day of school is Aug. 21.
Some spaces had a fishing theme while others focused on sports, flowers, hearts or featured the student’s name and a giant 2026.
Art teacher Nina Strelec assisted many of the young artists.
Participating students had to sign and submit a parking application and pay $50 for a parking permit to personalize the spot.
