As coronavirus cases continue to surge in Allegheny County and across the country, the Sewickley area’s numbers remain conservative.

As of Dec. 8, there have been 65 total cases of the novel coronavirus in the Borough of Sewickley since March, according to the latest information provided by an interactive Allegheny County map. No deaths have been reported, and 722 tests have been administered to Sewickley residents.

Since the pandemic began, Sewickley Heights has had 135 cases (but with its low population, the case rate is among the highest in Allegheny County), Sewickley Hills has had 10, Edgeworth’s count is 28, Leetsdale has had 17, Leet has had 33, and Glen Osborne has recorded just nine cases. No deaths have been reported in any of these areas.
