Multiple communities in the Sewickley area have uncontested municipal races – the majority of which have incumbent candidates.

The Edgeworth council race is uncontested, as four candidates are running for four open seats. Those candidates are newcomer Katherine Larsen and incumbents Daniel Wilson, Joseph Hoepp and Ivan Hofmann. According to the Allegheny County Office of Elections, all are Republicans.

In Glen Osborne, just two candidates, John Orndorff and Mary Scalercio are on the ballot for four open seats on council. Both are incumbent Democrats.

The Sewickley Heights council race is also uncontested, as four candidates are vying for four open seats. Republicans Carey Sirianni, Craig Kinney, Tom Pangburn and Phil Hundley are on the ballot. All are incumbents.

In Sewickley Hills, incumbents Teresa Hartle and Joseph Hajnas will retain their seats on council.

Editor’s note: Contested municipal and school board race previews will begin running in the Oct. 21 issue of the Sewickley Herald.
