Serena Hutchens, a 2025 Quaker Valley High School graduate, earned her Girl Scout Gold Award on June 8. Her project was called Pride of Quaker Valley, and highlighted the importance of the high school’s marching band and music programs with a three-part art piece depicting her experiences. Each art piece is located in the music rooms throughout the district and shows her progression with music throughout the school, emphasizing the impact the marching band had on her.
Hudson Bordeau, Jack Gordon, Nick Madison and Sally Moravitz made the dean’s list at Miami University for the spring 2025 semester.
Jack Wentz graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in political science/international studies and Maddy Recker with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Rhodes College on May 17. Wentz also made the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester.
