Stella Christensen made the dean’s list at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, for the spring 2024 semester.

Mary-Cate Sesky made the president’s list with a 4.0 GPA at the University of Alabama for the spring 2024 semester.

Andrew Rostek, Seth Ryder and Nathan Cullo graduated from PennWest University on May 4.

Sewickley Academy rising senior Sebastian Tan, along with three other students from across the United States, recently competed at the National Economics Challenge Global Round in Hong Kong. Representing the U.S. National Economics Team, the group competed against more than 16,000 participants from 34 countries. The team won first place in both the Critical Thinking portion of the competition and the Under 20 Youth Voices competition. Their extensive research on the impact of artificial intelligence on global labor markets was particularly lauded for its depth and relevance. In addition to their individual and team successes, the U.S. National Economics Team earned a bronze medal overall, distinguishing themselves among thousands of competitors worldwide. Tan was the only high school student on the team.

Nicholas Allan has enrolled at James Madison University for the fall 2024 semester. Allan is majoring in business management.
