Sewickley Music Club launches 105th season

Alejandro Pinzón (bandoneón tango instrument) will perform at Sewickley Music Club’s first concert of the season on Oct. 14.

The Sewickley Music Club welcomes back its members for the 105th year, and the 2025-2026 season boasts a talented lineup of musical performances.

The first musical program will be performed by Alejandro Pinzón (bandoneón tango instrument) and David Huchin Castro (guitar).

Pinzón is the music director and principal conductor at Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra. He formed “Maestro Tango” and teaches dance workshops and music master classes, conducts concerts, performs with chamber ensembles and orchestras, and gives lectures about tango.

Castro is a digital creator who studied at Facultad de Musica UNAM and earned a master of music in music performance at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

Club members will meet for their first tea and program at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Sewickley United Methodist Church, 337 Broad St.
