A Sheetz employee working at its Mt. Nebo Road location in Ohio Township has tested positive for covid-19, according to company officials.

An employee at a Sheetz location in Ohio Township has tested positive for covid-19, company officials announced Wednesday night.

An employee from the store at 1910 Mt. Nebo Road tested positive. The employee has not worked at the store since June 17, according to Sheetz spokesman Nick Ruffner.

“According to our ongoing protocols, this store has been conducting daily cleaning, sanitization and disinfecting,” Ruffer said in a statement.

The store will not be closing, according to Ruffner.

“We will continue to put the health and well-being of our customers and employees first as this unprecedented health crisis continues,” Ruffer said.

Twenty-three people have tested positive for covid-19 in Ohio Township, according to Allegheny County’s covid-19 map.
