Sheriff’s deputies Thursday arrested a man and a woman, both wanted for violating probation, at a Bell Acres home.
Eric Bosh, 43, of Ambridge, was named a fugitive a month ago after he violated his probation for a guilty plea of fleeing a police officer, a sheriff’s spokesman said. Moon police also previously arrested Bosh, who has active warrants on theft and escape charges, following a SWAT situation where Bosh locked himself in an attic while armed with a rifle.
A tip led detectives Thursday to a Turkey Foot Road home.
A woman — later identified as Brittany Fanfarilli, 30 of Aliquippa — was taken into custody after she left the Bell Acres and got into a van to attempt to leave the property, the sheriff’s spokesman said.
A bench warrant was out for Fanfarilli for violating parole on a guilty plea on a drug charge, the spokesman said. She also faces two other warrants for drug possession and theft.
Bosh appeared to retreat into the residence after seeing sheriff’s deputies, the spokesman said. After Bosh refused commands to leave the home, detectives forced their way in. They later found Bosh hiding in a basement closet underneath storage bins.
Both Bosh and Fanfarilli were taken to Allegheny County Jail and are awaiting arraignment.
