Placed in hockey tournament

Three Quaker Valley elementary students who are on the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite girls hockey team – Ava Franus, Grace Keisel and Claire Dickson – participated in the Sarah Backstrom 27th Annual Memorial Tournament in Erie last month. The Pittsburgh Pens Elite players placed 2nd in the tournament. The team placed second in the tournament.

Dean’s list

The following students from the area were recognized for their academic achievement during the fall 2020 semester by being named to the dean’s, president’s or provost’s list at the college or university they attend:
