A Traveling Glass Bin will make a stop at Quaker Valley High School in August.

The Pennsylvania Resources Council will provide a bin for recycling glass bottles, jars and jugs from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 8-13 in the high school’s lower lot, 625 Beaver St., Leetsdale.

Participation is free and registration is not required. PRC operates the bin and will monitor for appropriate items. Lids and labels may remain on containers and color separation is not necessary. Visit prc.org/glassrecycling for more information or call 412-488-7490.

Another bin will be placed Aug. 1-6 at Kilbuck Township’s upper parking lot, 343 Eicher Road, Pittsburgh.

The program is supported by Sustainable Sewickley.
