Victory Float Lounge is prepping for renovations for its recently opened space in Sewickley on Green Street.

In early April, Victory Float Lounge took over the space where the former spa Revitalized was – it shuttered its doors in February.

“We saw it as an opportunity to have a location closer to where we lived, and it was easier to step into something that was already established,” said Casey Williams, co-owner of Victory Float Lounge, who resides in Moon Township.

The location is currently looking to have renovations done to have the space fit the lounge’s Lawrenceville aesthetic by redoing the floor and walls, adding a new tank and a room for a sauna tub.

“We are so excited to get renovations finished,” Pogson said. “It has been really nice to stay open during this time.”

Williams said the location is looking to celebrate the new space by having a grand reopening hopefully in early August.

Williams and his partner Lindsey Pogson co-own Victory Float Lounge together, overseeing both the Sewickley location and the original location in Lawrenceville that has been open since September 2020.

The Lawrenceville location has seen a lot of traction, especially from young professionals or newer parents looking for time away from their kids for a moment, Williams said.

“We have gotten a ton of support out there,” he said.

The business is known for its float room service, which is a 60-minute floatation therapy process where an individual floats in a foot of water filled with one ton of Epsom salt in a small, room-sized tank. Customers can choose to eliminate all sound and light during their experience or adjust settings to their liking, Williams said.

Flotation therapy is beneficial for those looking to ease stress and get a respite from noise, Pogson said.

“It gives you a reset from your day,” she said.

Pogson said the room also benefits individuals physically because of its zero-gravity environment.

Other services offered include a sauna, LED light-stim bed and halotherapy.
