Shaler residents must register by 3 p.m. Wednesday for the township’s yard waste collection on July 25.
According to the township website, items that can be picked up include leaves, garden residue, shrubs without dirt, tree limbs and trimmings, and similar items.
Items have to be placed inside a biodegradable paper bag for hauling.
Tree trimmings have to be less than 3-inches wide. All other clippings and shrubs have to be less than 4-feet long and less than 1-foot wide.
Grass clippings and mulch will not be accepted.
