South Fayette student takes 3rd in international competition
Vidhisha Chahande of South Fayette won third place in the international HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) competition in Dallas.
She competed against 75 participants in the category Leadership Job-Seeking Skills. HOSA had more than 12,000 participants all over the world, including China, South Korea, Canada and all 50 states.
Vidhisha won the Student Leadership Conference in Valley Forge to qualify for the international event as Pennsylvania’s representative. HOSA is a student-led organization dedicated to preparing future health care professionals, and promoting leadership and academic excellence.
